TELEFIRE TSC-7000L – Firefighters Smoke-Control Station Expansion Module
The Telefire TSC-7000L is an auxiliary control module (subassembly) used as part of the TSC-7000 Firefighters Smoke-Control Station (FSCS). Working in conjunction with the central TSC-7000M unit, this module provides supervision and control for extensive smoke management systems (fans, dampers) in large facilities.
The product complies with the stringent UUKL (Smoke Control System Equipment) category of the UL 864 standard, ensuring reliable operation during emergencies.
Function and Application
While the TSC-7000M serves as the system’s “brain,” the TSC-7000L is designed to expand the system’s capacity by handling additional control points and indicators.
- System Expansion: Enables the integration of additional smoke zones and devices into the graphic synoptic map.
- Status Indication: Manages associated LED indicators that display the status of smoke control devices (Active, Fault, Normal).
- Interface: Provides the interface between physical switches and the central control unit, allowing firefighters to manually override specific zones.
