TFH-60026WP Rate Compensation Heat Detector – All Weather

The TFH-60026WP is an all-weather, rate compensation heat detector designed for both indoor and outdoor use. This Model 302-ET type detector features hermetically sealed construction, making it suitable for moisture-proof and dust-proof installations. The device can be installed without a special back box and includes a plastic hexagonal grip bushing with 1/2″ conduit threads.

The detector operates on rate compensation principles, allowing for rapid temperature rise detection without the thermal lag issues characteristic of conventional fixed temperature detectors. The device consists of a high expansion aluminum tube containing two insulation struts with opposing open contact points.
