The Telefire TPH-482 (and the advanced TPH-482A) is an intelligent, microprocessor-controlled analog addressable multisensor detector that combines smoke and heat sensing capabilities for superior fire detection accuracy. The device is specifically designed to minimize false alarms while providing rapid and reliable detection during the early stages of a fire.

The detector features a vented chamber labyrinth containing an infrared transmitter and receiver for photoelectric smoke detection, complemented by a precision thermal sensor. The built-in microprocessor utilizes a smart algorithm to analyze physical parameters (smoke and heat), evaluate their values and trends, and dynamically modify sensitivity. This technology allows for the effective detection of smoldering fires while filtering out nuisance sources (e.g., cooking fumes), significantly reducing false alarms. The TPH-482 is an eco-friendly product containing no radioactive materials.
