Addressable Manual Call Point

Features

TPB-801 Addressable Manual Call Point

The Telefire TPB-801 is an advanced, UL-listed addressable manual call point designed for manually initiating fire alarms in Telefire analog addressable fire detection systems. The device allows occupants to strictly and immediately send an alarm signal to the control panel upon detecting a fire. Its design is robust and reliable, meeting strict international safety standards.

Operating Principle

The TPB-801 has a unique address on the loop and maintains continuous two-way communication with the fire alarm control panel. Upon activation (operating the push button), the device sends an interrupt signal to the panel, which immediately generates a fire alarm and displays the exact location of the device. The built-in LED indicator indicates system status in quiescent mode (flashing) and turns steady on when activated, providing clear visual feedback of successful operation.

GUARD-V series
SAVER-7000 series

Operating Modes

The TPB-801 operates depending on the system status and programming:

Quiescent Mode

In this mode, the device is in standby, monitoring the push-button status, and responding to periodic polls from the control panel.

Alarm Mode

When the button is pressed, the device sends an immediate alarm signal to the control panel. Resetting is done using the supplied key, which resets the mechanism to its normal position, eliminating the need for parts replacement after testing or activation.

Installation and Wiring

During installation, all power supplies must be disconnected from the system before performing any work. Planning of the quantity and location of call points shall be done according to local codes and regulations, typically along escape routes. The TPB-801 connects directly to the two-wire addressable loop (SLC).
