Telefire ADR-3001 Analog Addressable Control Panel Main Board

The Telefire ADR-3001 is the central component (main board) of the highly successful ADR-3000 analog addressable fire alarm system. This advanced control unit acts as the “heart” of the system, ensuring intelligent signal processing, bidirectional communication with addressed devices, and system supervision. The ADR-3001 main board is designed for flexibility: it can host one or two loop control cards (ADR-3002), offering a scalable solution from small systems to medium-sized facilities.

The unit utilizes Telefire’s “FireCom” technology, enabling highly reliable communication between the panel and detectors. The main board manages all input signals, including analog data from smoke and heat detectors, and uses a “Drift Compensation” algorithm to automatically adjust for environmental changes and detector contamination, minimizing false alarms. The ADR-3001 includes the power supply input, battery charging circuit control, and various outputs (sounders, relays, remote annunciators). System programming and monitoring are performed via the connected keyboard and LCD display (ADR-3003) or through PC software.

Key Features and Benefits:

  • Central Control Unit: The main board of the ADR-3000 system, integrating the processor, memory, and main connection points.
  • Expandable Capacity: Accepts ADR-3002 loop cards. Basic configuration supports 1 loop (127 addresses), expandable to 2 loops (254 addresses) or networked up to 32 panels.
  • Analog Intelligence: Continuously analyzes data received from detectors, providing not just “yes/no” alarms but also pre-alarms and maintenance alerts.
  • Built-in Outputs:
    • 2 supervised sounder outputs (NAC) with reverse polarity.
    • 1 supervised dialer activation output.
    • Alarm and Fault relays (dry contacts).
    • 24V DC auxiliary power outputs for external devices.
  • Connectivity Options: RS-232 port for PC programming (or GIM-232 galvanic isolator), connector for LON-3000 network card, and RM-4005 remote annunciator.
  • Event Memory: Stores a detailed event log with date and time, which can be saved to a PC or printed.
  • Protection: Electronic short-circuit protection on loops and easily accessible fuses on the power input.
