TELEFIRE PROG-4000 

The TELEFIRE PROG-4000 is a handheld programmer and testing tool designed for programming and testing all of TELEFIRE’s analog addressable devices, such as detectors, manual call points, input/output modules, auxiliary power supplies, ADR-833 extinguishing control units, etc. . Each addressable device connected to the ADR-3000 (and ADR-7000) system can be programmed to an address in the range of 1 to 127, which this programmer can write to and modify in the device’s permanent memory . Certain input and output modules use multiple addresses; in such cases, the PROG-4000 programs the first address of several consecutive addresses .

In addition to address programming, the PROG-4000 also functions as a testing unit, allowing for the verification of features and conditions of all addressable devices, such as normal operation, alarm, various trouble conditions, etc. . The device includes an alphanumeric display, keyboard, an analog detector base, and a programming cord with a connector to program addressable modules . An add-on conventional base and an adaptor are also supplied for programming older (TIP-224A) and newer types of detectors . The PROG-4000 operates from a mains power source (230V AC) .
